This is wonderful, Susan. You should get out into the great outdoors more often. I love its simplicity.

Thanks Sam. I reeeeeally appreciate the encouraging words. I try to get out about 3x a week. If I could, I'd go every morning but there other things I need to paint. It's suppose to warm up to upper 30s but early in the morning it's still in the 20s. Happy Painting!

Susan it's great. You captured snow in every way, it was worth the frostbite. Well done.

Lisa - you can say that again and I'm sure you do all winter long. But it is fun for the kids.

Hey Joan thanks so much. I love the light on cold frosty days but I think I'm getting to old. On these cold days I just don't want to leave the house, at all and for days on end. Good thing I have Karen to meet.

Hi Karen, you think so??? I was concerned they were too hard but I totally trust your judgement.

BEAUTIFUL! I agree with Karen the edges are exquisite. I especially LOVE the way it all moves back to that soft blur. What feel!

Great snow scene~
blue undertones, hazy distance, & interesting forground shapes.
I so enjoyed you sharing your way-out-west adventure!!!

Wow, Susan, I really love this. It has such a great feel to it. Reminds me a bit of a John Twachtman (bad name, huh?).
