I love quick sketch in oils. This is one of my favorite models. She's long and lean with a pixie-like personality.

It's cool how you can get at so much with so little actually 'finished'. It reminds me to leave some of this spontaneity alone instead of trying to finish every single part of everything!

Susan, i like this very much too. You say so much with such clarity using minimal brushwork and colour! I think you should paint a series of paintings like this...

Hello Maggie, I do have a series of these figure paintings on-going. It's funny because I bounce back and forth from these to more carefully worked head-studies. Happy Painting!
