Karen Phipps, plein air painting buddy, fantastic paintings has inspired me to work larger in plein air. But I lost the original light after about 1 1/2 hours so I'll return tomorrow to finish. I started the piece with a large flat brush to lay in the composition and quickly switched to a large palette knife. The skyline will be in the background with the small lake and reflections in the foreground.12"x24" oil
