It looks and feels like white Elmer's Glue which you can use as well if it does not have to be archival. My process is to pour out a generous amount and spread it with a soft synthetic brush, totally covering the board. Let me know if you've any questions. I've doing this for a few years and I think I've worked out the kinks. good luck p.s. it is a bit labor intensive so a recommend a nice wine and a chick flick.<br />Thanks for stopping by. I hope you've been busy making lots of art!susan hong-sammonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04078097993647685090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31272502.post-78526113418597331552009-07-22T14:37:24.729-05:002009-07-22T14:37:24.729-05:00These are beautiful! And of course, the contrasting/similar paintings make them even more intriguing. I think it would be hard to separate these two. They're perfect!Janelle Goodwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00421704740728568653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31272502.post-18892687908539994692009-07-20T10:50:21.614-05:002009-07-20T10:50:21.614-05:00Hi Susan,

Even though I don't paint, I think you did capture the expanse of the sky, sand, and water in the second one...I'm glad you kept the sand as it is.
